View of the Romanesque facade of the Church of the Madeleine in Vézelay, with its sculpted portal and imposing bell tower. On the back, a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Maurice Pierre Kieffer in Paris, accompanied by a 10-centime postmark and a circular cancellation from Saulxures-sur-Ouche dated 8 September 1915.
