Historical illustration of the Saint-Étienne Gate in Vézelay, located to the West, composed of a semicircular arch, with two heres, a battlemented gallery, and defended by two octagonal towers (Saint-Jean Tower and Barle Tower). The gate was demolished in 1813 and replaced by two pilasters. Reverse: postcard published by Wachter, Avallon, with correspondence and address areas.
