View of the Porte-Neuve in Vézelay, built in the 14th century and renovated in the 16th, with its towers and machicolations. The printed text describes its defensive role and architectural features. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Monsieur Bergeveux in Varennes, with a 5-centime stamp and a cancellation from Vézelay dated May 18, 1914.
