Description

Panoramic view of Vézelay, with its abbey perched on a hill, illustrating its history from the Gallo-Roman era until the Revolution. The printed text refers to the abbey founded around 860, the relics of Sainte-Madeleine, and its role in the Crusades and Protestantism. On the reverse, a handwritten inscription indicates a souvenir dated December 30, 1942, sent from the 4th U.J.-I camp in Neyré.
