Description

Monumental statue of the Republic in Vichy, depicting a winged figure holding an olive branch, surmounting a lion, with sculptures at the base. Printed text at the base of the pedestal: 'LA VILLE DE VICHY À LA RÉPUBLIQUE'. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Monsieur et Madame Durand' in Charpentier, with a 5 centimes green stamp and cancellation 'VICHY 10 JUILLET 1910'.
