View of an ancient obelisk in Vienna, identified as the 'Plan of the Needle' or 'Tomb of Pilate', supposedly dating from the 1st century. The printed text on the front mentions the publisher Cliché G.-D. and the location in Vienna. On the reverse, a handwritten address is intended for Louis Cartel in Guindedecourt (Somme), with a postmark from Vienna dated July 28, 1903.
