Sepia-toned view of a stone staircase leading to ruins of ancient castles, with buildings in the background. The reverse indicates that the castle was dismantled in 1622 by Louis XIII during the Calvinist uprising, and that the Town Hall is located in buildings from the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries.
