Description

Black and white panoramic view of the village of Villard-de-Lans, located at an altitude of 1040 meters, with scattered houses on a green hill at the foot of steep mountains. The reverse indicates the publisher 'La Cigogne', the address of the children's homes, and a handwritten correspondence to 'St. Amand, Château d'Anjou, (G.M.)'. Postmark of 8 francs canceled in Villard-de-Lans on July 15, 1945.
