Black and white view of the entrance to the New Fort in Vincennes, with a stone archway and trees shading the scene. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 5, 1932 addressed to 'Mon cher Georges', mentioning movements to the Bastille and the Bicêtre prison, with a visible postmark and cancellation.
