View of Place du Château in Vire, showing the ruins of a castle surrounded by a tree avenue, with a few people and a horse in the foreground. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Madame H. Vallée in Montreuil (Seine), a signature 'Bonfons bien commandé' and a mention of the Leclerc collection. Green 20-centime stamp cancelled in Vire, dated 23 August 1907.
