View of the medieval castle of Vitré, dating from the 11th, 13th, and 16th centuries, built on a hill watered by the Vilaine and having withstood many sieges, notably against the English. The back features handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Tille et Vilaine' and a postal stamp not visible.
