Black and white view of the stairs of the Grand Hotel in Vittel, surrounded by greenery and balustrades. The back side features a handwritten letter dated August 12, 1954, addressed to Madame M. Reyet in Sainte-Adresse, with an 8 franc stamp and a cancellation from Vittel dated May 25, 1954.
