Description

View of the Vizille Castle in Isère, with its imposing architecture and park. The reverse details its history: fortified in the 16th century, it was acquired by the Protestants in 1563, then rebuilt in the 17th century. It houses an equestrian statue of Lesdiguières and a pond. A fire in 1865 destroyed part of the historical hall.
