Description

View of a narrow passage flanked by stone walls and ivy, leading to an arched gateway. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated June 17, 1943, addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Darbelle in Framboisville, and mentions the Gatehouse as a historical site dating from the 11th and 12th centuries. The publisher is P. DUPONT in Fouras, with a visible postage stamp and postmark.
