Description

Black and white panoramic view of a village nestled in a mountainous canyon, with a bridge spanning a river and scattered houses on the slopes. Printed text at the bottom: 'General View Salins near Moutiers'. On the reverse, handwritten address to 'Mademoiselle J. Guncéy, Martigny (Switzerland)' and sender 'Alicie Rouostan, Grand Hôtel des Bains, Salins-Moutiers (Savoie)' dated August 11, 1905. Green 20-centime French postage stamp, postmarked at Moutiers.
