Colorized postcard depicting two little girls in an old-style dress, one holding a fan, looking up at a large pink and blue butterfly above them, in a forest and flower setting. Printed text at the bottom: « I hold the pretty butterfly. Its wings are dusted with rice. » On the reverse, handwritten address to Marguerite Bellat in Paris, signature of Marie Lorizon, French postmark canceled, and note « All foreign countries do not accept correspondence on the front. »
