Description

Black and white view of a stone-paved staircase street, bordered by stone walls and leading towards a conical-roofed tower. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1961, sent from Hyères-les-Palmiers to Paris, with a 0.25 franc French postage stamp and a circular postmark 'HYÈRES 7-8 1961 VAR'.
