Black and white view of a ruined Gothic gate in the Abbey of Aulne, with a lancet stained glass window in the background. The reverse indicates the publisher E. Sergysels, Charleroi, and a handwritten address to Madame Guillaume Rondaux in Rondaux (Hord), France. A 1.75 franc Belgian stamp 'Agriculture' postmarked Gozée on May 5, 1914.
