Description

Aerial sepia view of the Abbey of N.D. de Lérins, located on an island in the middle of a gulf, with buildings and gardens along the shore. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Cannes in August-September 1957, with an 8 franc stamp and a cancellation 'CANNES ALPES MARITIMES'. The handwritten address is to 'Mme Le Jeune, Rue d'Infroy, Douai (Nord)'.
