Black and white photograph of a carved stone fountain at the Abbaye du Thoronet, with a circular basin and water jets. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated August 19, 1969, addressed to friends in Saint-Brièvre, mentioning a trip to Italy and memories. French Republic 30-cent postage stamp, postmark from Aix-en-Provence.
