Black and white view of the Renhparts in Albignes-Mortes, on the coast, with a fortification wall and a cylindrical tower overlooking a beach. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 16, sent from Paris to Admiral Courlet in Saint-Mande/Sèvres, with a French 50-centime postage stamp and a Paris cancellation mark.
