Black and white panoramic view of the port of Ajaccio, with numerous sailboats moored and a large cruise ship in the background, facing a landscape of wooded hills. On the reverse, an 8 franc stamp depicting the valley of Andorès, arrival postmark in Ajaccio dated 17 March 1953, and a handwritten inscription for Mrs. M. Trébuchet in La Gournauve.
