Description

Scene of a pilgrimage to the Lourdes cave, with a statue of the Virgin Mary surrounded by candles and devotees in religious attire. A large printed ribbon displays: 'At the Blessed Grotte I have prayed for you'. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated Tuesday, March 14, 1905, sent from Lourdes, and a 25-centime French postage stamp.
