Colorized view of Freedom Park in Algiers, with a small white structure adorned with ivy and palm trees, and an oriental-style building in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated May 22, 1957, sent from Algeria to Saint-Malo (France), signed by Joseph Germaine, a nurse at the Red Cross, and addressed to a 'dear Mother'.
