Description

View of the Altpörtel Tower in Speyer, with shops such as 'Goldener Adler' and 'Optik Hut' in the vicinity. The reverse shows a handwritten letter dated 11/13, sent from Speyer on the Rhine to Mrs. Sanconnie in Paris, with two Helvetia stamps (10 and 20 centimes) and a 1956 postmark.
