Postcard showing a small Irish cottage with thatched roof and smoke rising from the chimney, surrounded by greenery and stones. On the reverse, a handwritten letter in French from Christy to Anne Tézequel in Lannion, France, dated June 22, 1973, mentioning a trip to Ireland from the north of the island and a desire to see the sender. Irish 22 pence postage stamp, partial cancellation.
