Description

Black and white view of the Romanesque façade of the Saint-Pierre Cathedral in Angoulême, adorned with sculptures and two conical-roofed towers. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Monsieur Aimé Imbert in Paris, with a 20-franc stamp commemorating the 150th anniversary of the first solar eclipse, canceled in Angoulême on June 18–19.
