Description

Black and white view of the Hôtel de Ville d'Angoulême, with its medieval tower and Gothic steeple, dated around 1943. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Blouduy in La Rochelle, with two blue 60-centime stamps and a postmark from Angoulême dated 18 June 1943. The publisher is mentioned at the bottom left: 'L'ÉCHO DE LA PLACE'.
