Colorized postcard showing two antebellum houses on Esplanade Avenue, characterized by their delicate wrought-iron balconies, typical of the Vieux Carré. The reverse side features French text, an address in Paris, a 33-cent USA airmail stamp depicting Alfred V. Verville, and a postmark from New Orleans dated 1947. The publisher is Grant L. Robertson, Metairie, Louisiana.
