Colorized view of the Acropolis of Athens under a blue sky with some clouds, surrounded by cypresses and ancient ruins. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Chantal' in Paris, dated 16.7.56, mentioning sites visited in Greece. The Greek stamp is canceled with a postmark from Thessaloniki (Greece) and the publisher 'Philopappe' is indicated at the bottom left.
