Postcard showing the ruins of the Roman theatre in Aosta, with Mount Aemilius (3559 m) in the background. On the reverse, it indicates a centenary celebration of the Italian ascent of the Matterhorn (1865–1965) and features a handwritten letter addressed to Paris, with an Italian 20 lire stamp cancelled in Aosta on 25 March 1965.
