Black and white view of the Parthenon in Athens, showing its Ionic columns and the eastern pediment with partially eroded sculptures. On the reverse, a handwritten French text recounts a trip to Athens, mentioning a boat, a café, and a walk. The red 2.50 drachma stamp bears the inscription 'FESTIVAL' and is canceled in Athens on July 2, 1963. The address is directed to Mrs. Hebert in Nogent-sur-Marne, France.
