View of the great Buddha carved from living rock at Aukana, Sri Lanka, with visitors below. Reverse: postcard published by J. L. Morrison & Son Ltd., Colombo, with a 1.50 rupee Sri Lanka postmark (Dambava Temple, 18th century painting) and cancellation. Handwritten message dated 8/2/79 sent to P. Schwaeederle in Orléans, France.
