Description

Black and white view of the Porte d'Arles, with its towers and arcades, in the middle of a lively square with some pedestrians and children. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated October 24, 1949, addressed to 'Chérie', written in Candau, with a mention of the publisher 'La Girand' and a French postal stamp with cancellation.
