Description

View of the Palace of the Popes in Avignon, showing its western facade and the Campanile Tower, with a crucifix on a wall in the background. The reverse side features handwritten text dated 3-10-1955, addressed to Madame & Monsieur Bouitte, with a note prohibiting reproduction and mentioning the « MAR » editions in Nice. The postmark is canceled in Avignon.
