The reverse features a handwritten letter sent from Praia das Maçãs (Portugal) to Gabriel Péri in Vitry-sur-Seine (France), dated June 30, 1963, mentioning a pleasant stay and good weather. Portuguese stamp canceled in Praia das Maçãs.
