Description

View of an alpine village with a castle in the background on a hill, in front of a white house with flowered windows. The reverse indicates that the castle was founded in 1040 by the lords of Tarasp, with a mention of the location at 1270 meters above sea level. Swiss 60-centime stamp issued in 1995 for the 100th anniversary of the Eidgenössischer Schwingerverband, canceled at Auras (Mineralas).
