Description

View of a white and black timber-framed building, surrounded by greenery and wooded hills, with a few people in front. On the verso, printed text mentioning the historical monument of the shepherds' work in Solingen, dated 1612, and a handwritten letter addressed to René Schmidt in Vertus (Marne). Postmark of 15 pfennigs from Deutsche Bundespost dated August 2, 1963, with Solingen cancellation.
