Description

Mine Detector Monument in Balloon d'Alsace (1242 m), work by sculptor Joseph Rivière and architect Émile Deschler, depicting a man falling between three pillars. Reverse: handwritten letter dated 21.08.95 from Y. Allard to a recipient in Anglès, mentioning a modest trip and a hope to return to Dol. French postage stamp 68,390.73, postmark from S.A.D. - rue Forlanin, 75009 Paris.
