Black and white view of a large steamship, the S/S Ville d'Algiers, moored in the port of Algiers, with the city buildings and piers in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Jean Niring in Ammar, with an Algiers postmark of 18 August 1941, and a note from Gallien et Clapier prohibiting reproduction.
