View of an impressive timber-framed building dating from the 15th century, located on Rue Saint-Martin in Bayeux. The ground floor houses a hostellerie with a visible sign. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Chassériau in Colombes, mentioning the hospitality and charm of the place. 20-franc postmark and Bayeux cancellation dated May 17, 1961.
