Description

Black and white view of the Benedictine Abbey of Melk, located on a hill overlooking the Danube, with its imposing Baroque architecture. The reverse indicates that it was begun in 1702 by Jacob Prondlauer and completed in 1728 by Jos. Mungenast. The publisher is P. Ledermann, Vienna, with a 5 grosfwoerte postmark dated 1964.
