View of a stone-paved street, lined with typical German timber-framed houses, with a building on the left with Gothic architecture. On the reverse, a postcard dated 1950, sent from Bernkastel-Kues an der Mosel to Paris, with a green 10 pfennig stamp and a Dortmund cancellation. The recipient's address is in France, at La Bernerie-en-Retz.
