Tourist postcard of Besançon showing six views: the bridge and buildings on the river, a river landscape, a historic building, the ramparts, a square with a floral motif and a stylized clock with a face. The reverse has handwritten text addressed to 'Honneur Piton Charles' at 'La Petite Portière', dated 31-7-81, with a French postage stamp of 140 francs and a Jura cancellation.
