Description

General view of St. Lazarus Church in Bethany, with its white dome and stone walls, surrounded by houses and green hills. On the reverse, printed text explaining that Bethany is a village near Jerusalem where Jesus restored Lazarus to life, and retains its Arabic name Al-Ezariyeh. Greek stamp of 15 drachmas, postmark from Piräia (Greece) dated 16 September 1932, sent to Mrs. Boixou in Maumont (France).
