Description

View of the Bunga Tanjung market in Padang, Sumatra, with its characteristic pointed roofs, horse-drawn carts, and old vehicles. On the reverse, a letter dated April 16, 1976, sent from Padang to Paris, addressed to Madame Hélène Galland, mentioning a pleasant stay on the Coast of Sages. Three stamps of the Republic of Indonesia are applied, including one of 50 rupiahs and one of 25 rupiahs, with a Padang cancellation.
