Description

Historic covered tramway, built in 1898 by G.F. Milnes & Co., transporting passengers in front of a massive rocky spur. The tramway, identified as 'THE FIRST TRAMROAD BLACKPOOL-FLEETWOOD', is a rare model. On the reverse, a detailed description outlines its history: it was purchased by the Blackpool Corporation in 1920, became an engineering vehicle, and is now on display at the National Tramway Museum in Crich, Derbyshire.
