View of the Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary in Braga, with its monumental stairs surrounded by greenery and visitors in period attire. The reverse shows a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Daumard in Inverness, Scotland, dated 4 August 1944, with a Portuguese postmark and a Braga cancellation.
