Black and white view of the Gothic cathedral in Bordeaux, with its two iconic spires, under a cloudy sky. The reverse bears a handwritten note dated August 17, 1957, sent from Martillac (Gironde) to Paris, with a 15-franc postage stamp and a circular cancellation. The publisher is mentioned at the bottom left: 'Éd. « La Cigogne »'.
