The reverse features a handwritten inscription by a traveler in London, mentioning Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, the British Museum, and the National Gallery, addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Cournoy in Paris. The 4 pence British royal stamp is canceled in Oxted, Surrey.
